Busy Times

The past week has seen the kids going in all different directions.
To begin the week Katie-Lynne and Lilly had their friends Amy and Tenae over for sleep overs. Then later in the week their cousins Hallie and Sarra came to stay while Henry had his friend Victor over to stay. While their was extra kids in the house Jakob and Nathan went off to young men's camp.
They came home with a tent full of crickets and a bit sore but had a great time. They had all made home made rafts which they raced down Porters river. Jakob came off and got stuck in debris, while a log fell on his arm and was trapped for a bit. He managed to get free, but with a few wounds and bruises. They also hiked up Quamby Bluff during a thunder storm. Which Jakob says was surreal as rather than the thunder storm being above them it was right next to them.
I didn't manage to capture any moments from the week but came across a few random shots that I hadn't used in the blog in the past few months.
These next two photos say it all. Nathan and Henry and also Katie-Lynne and Lilly as well as being siblings and sharing rooms are best friends, and just love to hang out with each other.

This photo of Lilly that I found shows her ingenuity. She is the only girl in the family without her ears pierced. Here she was proudly modelling some earrings she had made for herself out of blutak.
