With a 4 day weekend this week from show day and pupil free, we decided that we needed some family time, even if only for a few hours. Thursday I still had to go to uni, so Jason was home with the kids.... So Friday we decided to go for a drive to Hollybank and do a bit of nature walking. It was a beautiful day and we had the whole place to ourselves.
First we did a walk down to the river and a few other paths and then had a game of cricket in the picnic area. I love it when we get out together as the kids really have a good time together, and its just so great to be a family.

Nathan, being Nathan... if there was ever a prize for the clown of the family Nathan has certainly won it hands down. He always has some quick wit, or other way of making us smile or shake our heads in disbelief..... (I also discovered the other day that he is now as tall as me!)
