Happy 9th Birthday Katie-Lynne

On Tuesday this past week Katie-Lynne celebrated her 9th Birthday. She was so excited the night before, but managed to get to sleep....

Tuesday she had a morning of presents and phone calls, before heading off to school with her cupcakes to share with her friends. At school the whole class had to write letters to her wishing her happy birthday for their writing practice, which Katie-Lynne thought was a great writing job. Tuesday evening we had her favourite tea of corned beef and potato bake, with Nan and Pop Rowlings and Auntie Tracey.

But, her birthday wasn't over!!

On Friday she had her first sleepover party! The tradition in our family is when you turn 9 you get to have your first sleep over party.

She invited five friends, four of which slept over. The girls made their own pizzas for tea, played party games and watched 'Enchanted'. It was a little crazy, but by 10:45pm they were pretty much all asleep.... Saturday morning before her friends left Aneika gave them all a makeover and they dressed up and had a model shoot....
