On Thursday Lilly turned 7! My baby is now 7 years old... where have the years gone. She was so excited, especially because Katie-Lynne's birthday is only 2 weeks before hers and they share everything. So seeing Katie-Lynne get her presents and knowing that she had to wait two weeks for hers was a bit hard.
But the big day arrived and she got thoroughly spoilt. Who couldn't help but spoil such a beautiful little girl, who brings spark and life to our home. I informed her that she really wasn't 7 until the afternoon as that was the time of day that she was born. So she was asking me all day "am I 7 yet", when I told her that she was, she informed me that that was good because she had just started feeling 7.
She had a good day... I had to go to uni for a few hours, but afterwards we went to Royal Park as she loves the exercise equipment there and she could also ride her new scooter on the board walk. Then yesterday she had a party here at home with friends from school and church and of course cousin Hallie.
