Yesterday Jakob turned 16!!! It's hard to believe that only yesterday he was a little kid (well that's what it feels like), and now he's learning how to drive!!!! He passed his test the other day and yesterday first thing he and Jason went and picked up his driver's licence and went driving. On arriving home he had to admit that it wasn't as easy as he thought it was going to be!!!

I thought it was easier to put the number on his cake rather then trying to light up 16 candles!!
Off to a Youth dance the theme was 'Disney' and he decided to go as Mr. Incredible....
Aneika also went to the dance, she went as the Snow Queen....

He was such a little man, that loved having time with his dad...
Always trying to fill his Dad's shoes and do what he was doing...
To a very inquisitive child that wanted to know everything and at three I couldn't answer all his questions!!!
Ready for school at five, but he and Aneika still loved hanging out together
He loved school and still does
And whenever there was spare moment you would find him with a book in his hands, and you still do....
Ready for grade 7 and his first year at high school ....
At 15 he liked his long hair and hanging out with his brothers,
And at the end of grade 9 ready for his last year at high school this year.

Gee when you put the pics like that, it looks like those 16yrs went so quick!! When is he going to try reversing out of your driveway. After 17yrs of driving, even I find it tricky sometimes. :)
