One of these is our security screen door at the back of the house. Seldom used but it was in quite the state with rusted flaky paint so as we did not commit to replacing the door we decided on a minor do-over with a couple cans of spray whilst replacing the cat scratched fly screen. In hind sight we should have used a heritage green instead of the red, in order to match the roof and guttering. Well we still have the front door to do!

A few odd jobs
I was pleased to have a few additional days off work that allowed me to get to a few tasks that needed attention. The main activity centred around our kitchen sink. When I put it in I did not anchor it down properly or seal the benchtop. It has only been waiting since April! This got done on Thursday morning. While I was heading toward Bunnings I noted the condition of our fly screen on the sliding door of the rumpus room and got the supplies to do that. Tam picked up on my willingness to be doing some fixups and brought my attention to two other screens that needed attention too.
