Life begins at 40!!

Yesterday Jason turned 40!!!!

I suprised him by taking him away overnight on Thursday as he had two days off work (he was planning on working on the kitchen). He came back from dropping the kids at school on Thursday and I told him we were heading off.... he couldn't believe that he hadn't clued on or that the kids hadn't said anything to him......

My original plan was to take him to Cradle Mountain but the forecast was yuk so I took him to George town!!!!! As wierd as that may sound we had a really good time doing nature walks, climbing sand dunes, walking on the beach and staying in some real luxurious accomodation. Then on Friday when we came home we had a birthday tea with the kids.... and Jason's parents and sister.

Lilly loving her dad and giving him birthday cuddles....If you think Jason looks enthused about his candles he isn't.... he just does not like candles on birthday cakes.... but when you have kids you have to have candles on a cake and not one but as many as you can fit...
If this photo looks hazy it's because of all the smoke from all those candles!!!!

Enjoying his mum's sponge cake which is what he requested for his birthday....

And just like with Aneika's birthday let's reminiss....
