Today I gave Lilly a day off prep. In the first few weeks of starting school full time you can give them a day off (preferably Wednesday), while they adjust. Lilly absolutely loves school, but she had,had a head cold on the weekend and just wasn't quite herself. So I asked her if she would like a day with me and she thought that sounded good.....
I thought we would have a quiet day and I made sure I didn't have anything on, but just time for her. She spent the whole day chatting to me, and skipped all the way down the street when we went for a walk singing "incy, wincy spider". It was cute but certainly wasn't quiet!! I have to admit though I have missed her 'cute' company.......
On the weekend we put her and Katie-Lynne's bunk beds back together and she loves getting up on Katie-Lynne's bed when she's not there.....

Now showing her true colours....Being cold today I encouraged the kids to wear their dressing gowns before bed.... obviously Lilly is still hoping for some warm weather as she came out just in her summer PJ's wearing an old pair of Aneika's sunnies.....
The kids have all had a pretty good start to the new school year and all seem now settled into new classes and teachers and schools. In the last two weeks Katie-Lynne and Henry have both received merit certificates....
