Aneika has taken up soccer this year and loves it thus far, ......She needed socks for soccer and so last week I went and got her some - now Queechy High doesn't seem to mind what colour (though red is the preferred colour), and Aneika said she didn't care so I got her black and white stripped socks - she calls them her "cat in the hat socks".
Today she walked home from school (it takes half an hour to walk from Queechy to our place), in her muddy sneakers, stripey socks, school jumper and basketball shorts....... and this is a girl who is always so concerned about her image and what other people think??...
Thus, I had to promise that I would not put a photo of her on here.... as her hair was messy??
