The First Week Home

So what's it like to have Jakob home?? It's been great, busy and interesting.
It's been great to have all our children together again, to watch them and hear them interacting with each other, and to see that although it has been two years they still have that sibling connection with each other. Last Sunday I was downstairs and could hear the boys wrestling upstairs.... it was music to my ears. Nathan and Henry don't really wrestle with each other, but throw Jakob in the mix and the wrestling is back :) To listen to Jakob still tease Lilly in that big brother way, and for her to give him just as much back. To watch him run into the kitchen and pick Katie up - just because he can. To watch little Leira get to know him - she finally is ok for her Uncle Jakob to say hello, for a shoulder ride and for a story.
It's been busy, it's like Jakob has just jumped back into life. Hanging out with his brothers and catching up with friends. Getting uni organised for second semester, to go off to Hobart to study. Finally, unpacking his bags on Friday as he was too busy the rest of the week.
Interesting.... but a good interesting... as he settles back into family life and we all adjust to having him home and he adjusts to us and non-mission life....
This week so we could spend time with each we too a trip to Bakers Beach, it was a beautiful day and we had allot of fun together.
