Jakob has been called to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Japan Kobe Mission, for a period of 24 months.
We knew his call had been sent from Salt Lake a little under two weeks ago, so for the last week he has been checking the mailbox constantly. So after allot of waiting, and waiting and thinking it was never going to come, Jakob's mission call arrived yesterday. And then after some more waiting for everyone to be home, and for Jakob to finish his final year 12 exam, it was time to open it and find out where he has been called serve.....
Maybe there was a little hold up because of the address... note that it says Launce instead of Launceston.
Ready to open
Lilly wanted to be part of her big brothers moment
Wondering where he will go....
Ready to open

He is to report to the Provo Missionary Training Centre on the 2 April 2013, and there will prepare to preach the gospel in Japanese language.
So from now till then he will be getting ready....
