P's

Yeah!! Jakob has at long last been successful in getting his P's:):)
For Jakob most things in life come pretty easily to him, but this is one thing that did not. He began to think that he would never get his license, and was getting pretty dispirited by the whole license thing. The system and cost of testing....
But finally on Tuesday he passed, and is very pleased to display his P plates, and to be able to drive the car alone:)
I am still hesitant when he asks for the keys and of course give him heaps of advice before he gets in the car, but I know he really earned the privilege to drive himself around.

So tonight in celebration we had a 'P' dinner,... everything we ate started with 'P'. There was....

Purple drink

and Pastries

and Pecan Pie

and Potato chips

and Pasta salad

as well as Pies, Pizza, Peanuts and Plain water.

The kids had fun while we were eating emphasizing all the 'P' words they were saying. We also had a special Presentation, where we gave Jakob his own key to the little family run around car and a framed picture of him in the car stating 'success'.
