Today I'm down to two kids. The four youngest went back to school.... at Queechy high only the grade 7's go on the first day so Jakob and Aneika start tomorrow.... the kids were mostly excited about returning to school, though there was a few first morning nerves....
Katie-Lynne feeling very confident starting Grade 2. She has the same teacher as last year and is in the same classroom with most of her good friends. She did ask me to walk her in though as she lost her independent nerve at the last minute.
Lilly all ready for Prep and full time school. She was so excited and nervous and happy and stressed all at the same time. When we got to her classroom she found her place for her bag and asked me to do a puzzle with her, then some of her friends from last year came over to play with her and she said "You can go now mum", ....... very happy and confident. My baby is now at fulltime school!!!!
Nathan all set for grade 7 and his first year at High School. He was a little stressed as his two best friends have gone to different schools; but glad to be out of primary school. He did look so small walking in this morning though as I watched him from the car.... but hey maybe this will be his year to grow?
Henry looking very serious for his first day of grade 4. He was ok to go back, but wanted a bit more holiday. This year is the first year that he has been placed in a class with more than 1 of his good friends. Hopefully he and his friends won't distract each other too much.
