When will it be Summer??

Two weeks of the summer school holidays have passed and the kids keep asking "When will it be summer?"

We like to spend most of the summer holidays swimming or at the beach or doing anything that involves water and Katie-Lynne and Lilly really want to put up their pool. But the weather keeps holding out. So we have to find other things to do, today it was soap carving. The kids love this (though Jakob decided he was a bit past it this time), and even more fun afterwards is making all the bits of soap wet.

I knew the boys were having fun with it and I could hear allot of yelling, so I looked out the window only to discover that they had covered the trampoline in it and were sliding and bouncing all over it!!

Lilly made two guns - I said that's not very nice - she said but mum if you turn them upside down they are two "L's" for Lilly
