Christmas has been and gone again, but not without memories to look back on. Our Christmas morning was great....not too early. Our family rule is no presents until 7am, you can sit and look but you need to wait!! Sometimes the kids can hardly contain themselves but it works and it means mum and dad can get up happy!!!! Especially helps with teenagers in the house as Santa has to wait until really late to deliver the presents!!
We spent Christmas day with Jason's family.... there's only 8 grand kids on the Rowlings side so it's a pretty sedate day. But good to catch up with them. Jason's has a younger brother - Dion, who never seems to make it to Christmas lunch, but he makes up for his absence with his gift to the kids - $50 each!!
After eating lots on Christmas day we spent Boxing day with the Triffitts - chaos rules but it's great getting together with everyone - 18 grand kids this time - though Penny & Chris are in Georgia with their 3 so that brings it down to 15 (we miss you guys). And Kay was in charge of desserts this year..... if you've never had Kay cook for you, you're really missing out!!
We stayed the night at Oma and Pop's in Ulverstone and spent time at the beach today - it was summer again today and we all got a little sun burnt. So it was a great Christmas and one hopefully that the kids will remember.....
Jakob with his ipod nano and itunes voucher...he and Aneika were very spoilt by Santa this year.

Jason with his new car that I bought him.......I think he was pleased with it, though he would have preferred the larger version.
